Happy Monday (if there is such a thing)! It's Day 4 of the Dear Santasaurus Blog Tour.
I don't think of Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies as a Christmas cookie, but they are my family's number-one, hands-down favorite. I don't even need to worry about storing them because they pretty much disappear from the cooling rack.
Toll House Chocolate Chip Cookies
Notice, I'm not even typing up the recipe because I just use the one on the back of the bag. You'll also notice that I prefer dark chocolate chips (or morsels as the TH folks like to call them).
Hints and Help:
My cookies are always very flat. For a fatter cookie refrigerate the dough before baking. I've also heard that some people put a box of vanilla frosting in the cookie dough. I've never tried this.
Don't miss the rest of the tour.

Our state cookie! The story goes that the recipe comes from here in Massachusetts. Yum.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your debut PB! Sounds like loads of fun. Mmmm, never tried chocolate chip cookies with the dark chocolate chips. I must give them a try.
