The DEAR SANTASAURUS Blog Tour - Peanut Butter Kissed

I'm so excited. Today's tour is visiting Australia. Now I'm really wishing this was a traditional book tour and not a virtual one.

I've been making this cookie since high school. I used to make batches for my mom to take into work. They make me think of Christmas.

The Peanut Butter Kissed Cookie

 Ingredients:
1/2 C butter, melted
1/2 C peanut butter
1 1/4 C flour
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
bag of Kisses


Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
2. Mix butter and peanut butter with electric mixer until smooth.
3. Add 1/2 C flour, sugar, egg, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla. Mix thoroughly, still with electric mixer.
4. Add remaining flour slowly.
5. Use hands and shape into 1" balls and place on cookie sheet.
6. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes. Immediately when they come out of the oven, push 1 Kiss into each cookie. Cool for a LONG time on a wire rack.

I usually double this recipe.
