Day 1 of the Dear Santasaurus Blog Tour
Today's cookie is the Nutella Cookie. My kids are nuts about Nutella so we made up this recipe to enjoy the chocolaty, nutty goodness as a cookie. Enjoy!
Nutella Cookie
Ingredients:
1/2 C butter (softened)
3/4 C Nutella
1 1/2 C flour
1/2 C sugar
1/2 C brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp vanilla
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375.
1. Beat butter and Nutella until smooth.
2. Add 1/2 C flour, sugars, egg, baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla. Beat until smooth.
3. Add remaining flour and beat until smooth.
4. Roll into balls (about the size of a large gumball) and place on cookie sheet.
5. Bake 7-9 minutes.
Hints and help:
If dough is too sticky to handle, refrigerate.
Because of their dark color, it's hard to check these cookies for doneness.
